Dialling Down Digital Distraction

So many people have told me that their screen habits have become out of control since lockdown and it’s worrying them. Today on @morningshowon7 I explained that we often use technology to relieve our stress and boredom. In lockdown we feel both of these more will intensely and so use our technology more intensely to manage it. Step 1 to getting it under control is to do a 24 hour experiment on yourself. When you reach for your phone ask yourself if it’s stress or boredom that’s motivating you. Understanding yourself as a technology is the best way to start to get your technology habits under control.
